CMAUG August 2014 Meetup - Motion Graphics Series: Parallax Animation Techniques

August 28th · 6:30 PM  •

Howard Community College’s Business Training Center •

Living Photos:  Parallax (2.5D) Technique  •

There is something magical about Living Photos. Subtle motion effects incorporated into still images add depth and complexity, as well as, enhance the context and meaning of an image that might otherwise be overlooked. Parallax photography or the 2.5D effect is a masterful technique that manages to capture our imagination and focus our attention in a way that no other method can. Please join us as we continue to explore the Living Photos part of our Motion Graphics series by delving deep into the Parallax Technique using Photoshop and Edge Animate to create magic out of some of your most inspirational photos.

It is shaping up to be an amazing night so tell your friends, family, and co-workers. You can bring your own laptop with the Adobe Creative Cloud on it to develop an animation in Edge and After Effects or use the computer lab workstations to create your projects in Photoshop. We hope to see you all there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
