Biodynamic Beekeeping 101

Sounds like this class is now full. You may be put on a waitlist if you desire. We will keep you updated on any future activities related to beekeeping!

The January class sold out so Janine has agreed to host a second class. If you have been thinking about becoming a beekeeper or are interested in the practice of Biodynamic beekeeping this timely class is for you. Janine will offer you the basics on keeping bees including bee behavior, managing the hive, equipment, bee diseases and discuss why you may want to consider becoming a Biodynamic beekeeper.

Janine and Tim Degitz live in Clintonville and currently steward 5 bee hives. They are also preparing to study with Gunther Hauk at Spikenard Bee Sanctuary in 2013 to further their biodynamic beekeeping education.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This free class is hosted by City Folks Farm Shop and requires pre-registration to attend. Register by emailing [masked]

It was a nice basic introduction. I got some information about Central Ohio Beekeepers Association (COBA) classes.
