Growing everything needed for me, my family (which I need to start as soon as I find the right woman) and my community. Sustainability from Apiculture, year round Aquaponics, seasonal soil based plants, chickens, and goats. With a surplus to either open a farm market, organic restaurant or a B&B, depending on “her” goals. Energy from solar PV, solar thermal, thermal mass, mechanical wind. Off the grid? Nope, I want to be paid for the excess energy produced.
Capability of being off the grid but staying connected to sell back the surplus.
Planning, organizing and brainstorming, there's a hurricane in there!
I'm an eco-geek.
My plan: Develop an organic, subsistent and sustainable permaculture mini-farm to live a modern homesteading lifestyle, w/ a year round greenhouse, intermeshing aquaculture, vermiculture, solar, wind/water power not to deplete natural resources.
Always having a variety of activities to attend.
