Meet us in Lancaster at Cafe East!

Since I'm scheduling this meet less than a month out I wanted us to visit a popular place that we haven't been to in some time.  Cafe East offers a wide variety of Asian food and delicious Sushi.  It's also right off of the highway making it pretty easy to get to for anyone looking to visit from outside of Lancaster.  The service at this restaurant has always been fantastic and I'm excited to kick off the new year with some really great sushi.

I look forward to seeing everyone there!

These folks are AMAZING! They're totally cool with me opening up the flood gates and letting more people come to the meet. Please update your RSVP if plans change. There will be multiple tables and will be impossible to have all the dinners out at once so order at your leisure and don't sweat it if you're not right on time. Sushi is the excuse to hang out so feel free to order anything you like! I look forward to an amazing evening!

This restaurant is BYOB. Does this group encourage BYOB?

    January 24, 2013

    • Rebecca S.

Yes, I usually try to mention if a location does BYOB. Thanks for the reminder! There's a Wine and Spirits next door too.

Anyone interested in carpooling? We could leave from Harrisburg Mall or another place that's preferred.

Providing spots open up, would it be OK to bring my teenage son?

No problem. Usually the day of the meet there are a few that can't make it so even though it says 30 now it will probably change a little.

I'm going to call the restaurant for our reservation. I think I might tell them to expect 20-30. The larger the group the more difficult it is to tell how accurate of a number we'll have as definite that day. If they are okay with that, I'll open it up to 30.

UPDATE: I have added 5 more slots to accommodate the high demand, and I've invoked the waiting list.

The waiting list will take effect after the 25 slots are filled. Anyone who RSVP's after the limit will be put on the list. If anyone from the guest list backs out, the first user who was put on the waiting list will be put into the guest list...and so on. Please watch your email accounts because you will receive notifications in your email if you have been moved from the waiting list to the guest list.

See you all on the 26th!
