Its hard to prove a negative, but that's what they tell us. I do know that most snowflakes don't look like the typical SNOWFLAKE shape we cut out of construction paper in kindergarten. They are shapes no one associates with snowflakes such as cylinders, spheres, rods, ect. If you want to compare them with people, maybe a good lesson to take from them is that often the majority are what is generally considered "abnormal". The "normal" ones are rarities held up as a false standard.
Poetry, short stories, stories that would be novels if I ever finished them.
Hobby for now. I have had some poetry and inspirational articles published but would like to polish up some of my longer stories and begin seriously submitting them.
I just moved here from Louisiana where I was in a great group that encouraged me to write more. I find I put more effort into writing and, more importantly, finishing stories when I am a part of a group like this.
I am a nurse who has been writing on and off for years. I enjoy writing, reading, theater, and travelling with my family.
I love the format. The moderators really tried to get everyone's involvement. I will definitely be coming back.
