Hi folks!

I have talked with University Park, and we can meet for free in their beautiful park right by City Hall, across from the tennis courts and fountains, among the tulips, with our friends the ducks! I hope you don't mind, but we will be surrounded by fabulous mansions and extreme beauty. I bet you can live with it somehow!

At long last I have been able to settle on a regular Meetup location, and this is it! So look forward to regular gatherings, and the more we run them, the more people will join us.

Wear comfortable casual clothing, and bring your ipod dock and speakers, or your boom box, and some favorite music, or take your chances with mine!

I will have four or five hoops for those who need them to get started, and we will be hooping on the soccer field, which is covered with grass, which protects your hoops. We can show each other the basics and share our tricks and tips.

See you then, and we will officially begin our hooping journey together!

    •  This was a lot of fun! Louine is in great shape and very willing to practice and enjoy with us, and Jessica has been an inspiration to me for a long time as the Southside Hoop Jam. We ha a wonderful time in the most gorgeous neighborhood imaginable, with neighbors jogging by, walking their dogs, and calling out to us with smiles as they saw what we were doing. We learned some new tricks, and Jessica brought me a beautiful new Chakra Hoop, purple for the 3rd Chakra! I am working on my collection of Chakra Hoops so that I can concentrate on certain areas of my energy in specific ways with the color of the hoop as a focus. It was perfect weather, too, very breezy and wonderfully cool, really just perfect for hooping outdoors. See you folks next week, same time, same place.
    •  Very informative. Everyone helped each other. Felt like part of the group.
