Welcome! Thank you for stopping by to express your interest. This group is being formed to provide an open non-denomination setting for inquiring minds and experienced meditators alike where they can come together to learn what Buddhist meditation is about in an open, compassionate, accepting environment taught by a Tibetan Buddhist nun.
Ani Samten Palmo is an Tibetan Buddhist nun in the Karma Kagyu/Nyingma tradition. She received her ordination from the renown Meditation Master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and from H.E. The 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche, Pema Tönyö Nyinje. As a Western monastic, Ani Palmo shares her understanding of the Buddhist teachings combined with her knowledge of holistic health and living.
She received teachings from numerous teachers such as HH Karmapa, HH Dalai Lama, HH Sakya Trizen, Lama Lodu Rinpoche, Dzogchen Master Ven. Wangdor Rinpoche and many more.
Her root and primary teacher is Lama Lena Yeshe Katup, who is a lineageholder of the Nyingma and Kagyu Dzogchen/Chagchen lineages and is considered a Remay (ecclectic) teacher. Lama Lena's root teacher is Dzogchen Master Lama Wangdor Rimpoche.
