Authentic Buddhist Meditation Instruction

What is Meditation?

Meditation is one of the essential disciplines in the path of self-transformation. Developing the core skills of mindfulness, emotional receptivity and positive energy takes place in the structured setting of formal meditation practice. With the meditation skills we develop, we cultivate our pure heart nature and learn to manifest ourselves genuinely in our daily lives. Through meditation we come to understand how things and events truly exist. Teachers, mentors and instructors are essential supports to mastering this ancient contemplative practice.

These training sessions are appropriate for all level of students and spiritual beliefs.

What You Will Learn

• How to become “frazzle free.”
• Seven point meditation posture.
• Nine stages of meditation.
• How to use breath, chanting, prayers and visualization in meditation.
• How to maintain mindfulness in daily life activities.
• Components to a daily meditation practice.
• How to develop meditation tranquility and insight.
• How to connect fully with your spiritual teachers or higher power.

Hi! I just saw this group but see that the reservations are closed. May I take Denise's place today since she will not be able to be there?

There are 13 on the Wait List. When a YES RSVP changes to NO then a Wait List name is bumped automatically to a YES. Typically not all the YES people show up. So far no one has ever been turned away. If you would like to come with the aspiration there will be a vacant spot that will be fine. I ask that Wait Listed people wait until 5 minutes before 2:00pm before taking an open spot.

There will be another session in September. Khandro Ling, where I live, is in process of a remodel. Once the remodel is complete I will also hold meditation sessions here for those specifically interested in pursuing traditional Buddhist instruction. Possibly as soon as early October.

I really want to attend this meet up. Unfortunately I scheduled myself for another event today. Is there any other way to get familiarize with this form of meditation?

I once again have to give up my spot. Hopefully I will get moved the 1st of Sept and my life will settle down some. It has been a very difficult 6 months, but I'm looking forward to my next journey with hope. I really wish I could be there, I know that it would benefit me.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
