Re: [9-11-350] What will we do when the elections come, if they come.

Unfortunately, email will have to do, until we meet again.  Its really not so bad, as long as everyone keeps their cool, and respects each other.  It's also saving the planet, considering how far apart we live.

I hope you're happy with where we are as a country now.  Those that did not vote for Al Gore are responsible for the mess we're in.  (I'm not suggesting you're one.)  I would love to talk with you personally, e-mail doesn't work for a serious discussion.

The system will never be changed by the inside for the benefit of the "outside".  Nobody in power gives up their power willingly.  Power and freedom are taken, not given or received.  I am not above compromise, but its way too early to be working for other people's agendas, than out own.  None of the mainstream candidates give a damn about any of our most important issues.

Notes:  Mainstream candidates only give our issues lip service, voting records show otherwise, and Ron Paul is not a mainstream candidate, at least not yet.  Ask yourselves why the democrats don't support runoff voting or proportional representation in the electoral college.  (Republican Party doesn't either)  Ask yourselves what is most important to you.  Ask yourselves how important that is to the candidate.  If you are really paying attention, you will see disparity.

I personally will vote for Obama.  I'll be so glad when the Dem. candidate is selected, & I'm 99% sure it will be Obama, so I can support him totally.  I'm a P.C. and until we have a candidate I can't support anyone.  I know many people aren't happy with the political process and neither am I, but voting for a 3rd party candidate doesn't help anything.  For those who want to change the system, start working on it now.  Hard work, not just protesting.  I protest also but it requires hard work to change the system.  For starters, how about working to eliminate the electoral college?  It requires many petitions, getting the request on the ballot and voters approving it. How about insisting on campaign reform? Remember, not voting, or voting 3rd party is a vote for McCain and we can't allow a Republican to appoint our next Supreme Court Justice. Look at the forrest, not the trees only. There will be many that disagree with me, I know that from many conversations, but the system has to be changed from the inside.

Hello all fellow citizens:  I'm sorry to bother all of you but I am at a loss!!  Is there a lesser of thee evils and if so who? I would like a idea who you might be voting for if we still have that opportunity?  I thought it was Barak but now I am afraid and unsure!!
