Chaos Cooking- Taste Tripping
It's time to give our taste buds a psychedelic flavor experience they will never forget. From the depths of West Africa comes Synsepalum dulcificum, also known as the miracle fruit. When you eat this berry it causes sour foods (such as lemons and limes) to taste sweet. This effect is due to miraculin.
On September 8th, please join the Chaos Cooking Community for a very limited 50 person event where we confuse our mouths and laugh at the results while enjoying endless food, wine and conversation.
This is a ticketed event due to the extra cost of flying these special berries to NYC packed in dry ice and the limited space. We will have real berries, not tablets. Each berry lasts up to 2 hours. There will be 2 berries available per person.
$6 before Aug 22nd
All recipes must be finished and space returned to original condition by the end of the event, while everyone is socializing, enjoying drinks and eating tasty dishes. Try to prepare a sour dish. What to bring: Bring the ingredients necessary for a bunch of people to try a little bit of your dish. A bottle of wine. Optional: Extra knives, cutting boards, big bowls, grilling surfaces and Tupperware to bring any extra food home. Guidelines: Everyone must prepare something. Everyone must pitch in to help restore the space to its original condition. Try not to lose any fingers.
Feel free to share with your friends and people you trust.
