Welcome to the Charity events and Fundraising Meetup Group

We will organise charity events and fundraising to gather money to support a charity project for children in need in Madagascar.
I had this dream since 10 years, to build habitations for some poor malagasy people living near where I originally come from, Ampitatafika, 15km from Tana the capital.
In January we went to Madagascar with the plan of building the first habitation, but we realised being there that it is not habitations that people need urgently because they live anyway somewhere now, what children need are food and education. So we built and opened the first "Foyer" in January 09, where we receive around 50 children and providing them food and basic education. That is very very small but that is what we can do on our own for now.
The project is to build more foyers, in different places, where we will receive children between 4-6 years who are not going to school yet for various reasons, so we will give them food and give them education regularly.
We will organise events and have fun, and a part of the money that we spend will go to support this project.
