April Real-Life Pinterest Project

Hey everyone,
We are going to change it up a little bit for the April Pinterest Meetup.

We are going to have it more open then what we usually have. Because the winner was the wooden signs, but since it is a lot of material, those of you who are dedicated to getting these materials and doing some serious crafting you are more than welcome to come with that, we have done this in the studio plenty of times, and can def assist.

Many people liked the plaster flowers so lets make that a second focus.

If you would like to work on any Pinterest project you find yourself working on, just bring it in. We can help each other out and its a lot of fun to socialize together.

If you are thinking of doing the first 2 crafts here is the supplies list-

Plaster flowers-

fake flowers

glue gun/glue

rubber band

votive candle

and something to transport your flowers(aka a board)

mixing bowl

wood- front wood for artwork, wood lining(this can be as thick or thin as you find pref, it going to be part of the frame), outer frame wood

Paint- for background and words

Stencils or transfer paper with words on it

Wood Stain

We hope to see all of you at the Meetup! Byob, and Byoc.

I like the flowers, also. I'm also interested in making distressed signs like the pro's ~~ it would be fun to do in a group because I think we can share technique that works, shortcuts, etc. Check out the tutorial here: http://savedbylovecreations.com/2013/07/diy-rustic-hand-painted-signs-from-reclaimed-wood.html

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
