Love Yourself: Food, Nutrition and Your Inner Buddha

The month of April finds us continuing our search for unique ways to love and honor our physical bodies.  On Tuesday, April 15th, Lisa Caplinger, certified holistic nutritionist,  will be offering a presentation  on "Food, Nutrition and Your Inner Buddha".

Our "inner buddhas" thrive on whole foods, mindful eating and so much more!  We will be discussing ways to love our physical bodies while learning techniques for the kitchen and mind that can further our connection to our healthy selves.  We will discuss the art of mindful consumption and the importance of avoiding processed foods.

We will also be exploring the topics of our connection to Mother Earth through fruits and vegetables and the divine energy found in the foods we consume.  Part of our evening will consist of checking out some  healthy recipes that can easily be incorporated into our daily lives.  Recipes included!

We hope that you will join us as we sample some whole food smoothies and snacks and take home some recipes that contain much more than meets the eye!  We look forward to yet another way to honor and love our physical bodies!!

Welcome, ladies! So excited to meet you both this evening. As far as parking, usually after 6, Broad St and Church St are pretty open for parking. And, the meeters are free after 6. However, it is spring break week and the city is teeming!! If you truly can't find something on the street, the public garage at the corner of King St and Queen St is only three quick blocks away. Have a great day!

I feel so much better when I eat foods that are healthy for me. I need to learn the art of mindful consumption so can eat healthy at all times. Thanks for doing this Lisa.
