This is the second of two series on the book Modern Buddhism:  The Path of Compassion and Wisdom by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.  Students do not need to have attended the first series in order to enjoy this series.

During this series, Frances McLeod will show how we can understand Buddha’s very first teaching, the oft-misunderstood Four Noble Truths.  The Four Noble Truths encourages everyone to follow true paths to inner freedom and peace.  During the second half of the series, Frances McLeod will explain how to practice this path, known as the Six Perfections, within the context of our hectic daily life.

Everyone is welcome to attend, no previous experience required.  Drop in for any class.

 

Where to Find Us at the Circular Church

Enter from Queen Street and go to the far end of the parking lot behind the new addition to the Church.  The class is held on the second floor; look for the signs pointing you in the right direction.  Parking is free, even though there’s a sign saying you need to pay; Circular has reserved parking spaces at the end of the lot.
