Stop Worrying, Start Living: Freedom from Worry, Anxiety, and Fear
We all experience some degree of fear from time to time, whether we call it fear or something else, like worry, anxiety, or insecurity. Sometimes this fear is a mild irritant; sometimes our fears and insecurities can be paralyzing. Our fear stops us from living the joyous life we long for. During this series, learn to identify and overcome these fears using teachings and meditations derived from the Buddhist tradition. Everyone is welcome.
Every class will begin with a brief introduction, followed by a guided breathing meditation and the Liberating Prayer. After meditation, there will be a short teaching and time for Q&A.
Where to Find Us at the Circular Church
Enter from Queen Street and go to the far end of the parking lot behind the new addition to the Church. The class is held on the second floor; look for the signs pointing you in the right direction. Parking is free, even though there’s a sign saying you need to pay; Circular has reserved parking spaces at the end of the lot.
