PLEASE take a moment now to mark your calendars on the second Sunday for the next few months.
We meet at around noon at the Black Bean downtown and then stroll the closed-off King Street, offering vegan educational brochures (or booklets) to other pedestrians. It is completely legal, totally casual, and usually lots of fun!
Last month the weather was terrible, but in June, we had such a lovely time we lingered for hours. I have a number of different pieces of literature available, so you can select which "pamphlet" feels right for you.... Of course, you can bring along the vegan literature you prefer, if there's something you already like to share,
If you've never been a "pamphleteer" before--one of the most celebrated forms of expression, with a rich cultural heritage--and feel nervous about what it is like, you are cordially invited to join us anyway! You can see how easy and empowering it is. We can walk and talk--and on the rare occasion a stranger wants to ask a question, you could just watch how somebody with more experience "handles" the conversation. I'm confident that our time will be pleasant, even if you decide you would not want to leaflet in the future. :)
Feel free to call me, grace,[masked] if you have any questions now.
Or, if you'll be joining us "late," call/text so we can coordinate meeting up at an intersection somewhere else on King Street. (Or to see if we've even left the Black Bean yet!.=))
Thank you for all you do to make the world a better place!
