As vegans are a tiny minority in this animal exploitive society, it's great to meet like minded folks and be bolstered by their support. It's easy to feel isolated by compassionate choices, so it helps to know you're not alone, an entire community has made similar decisions.
Having been involved in dog rescue for many years led to an increasing awareness, which ultimately led to my going vegan around '09. It feels good to live my values and deny support to what I see as an unnecessary evil.

Hi all...I moved down from Boston one or two lifetimes ago and enjoy Charleston...well, maybe not so much in July and August, but it's mostly a pretty nice spot. Now if we could get better bicycle infrastructure we'd really have it going on.
