Fourth Sunday: Go out and have fun!

Once a month we'll go out (not at the church) and do something fun - as voted on by the group.

**Event for this month: See comments below!**

NOTE: We need suggestions for this month's outing. (See comments below for additional info).

This will give you a chance to practice being in different environments, get exposure to other experiences and find out you can have fun doing them!

Let us know what things you'd like to try and we'll add it to the list!

See comments below for this month's outing details!

It was one of the best Outings we have had so far! I had a ton of Fun! Luckily, there was no Rain. We played Bocce (Lawn Bowling, sort of), talked about different Subjects, and played with Krista's Son in the Kids' Park. Miss Teresa was there to handle her Grandson, and Will was great! It was so nice seeing so many Smiles and Laughs out of Will, Krista, Anthony, and the Parents. This was a complete Success!

We should go to that park and play bocce ball more often.

We have an opportunity to visit Sunday in Hilton Head with an old friend of Bob's. If we get back in time, we'll see y'all there. If not, we'll see you next Sunday!

Park is called West Ashley Park.
Address is 3601 Mary Ader Avenue, 29414.
There's a shelter, so if it rains we could have cover. Also, there are soccer fields, so we could kick around a ball if we wanted.

This makes certain Individuals uncomfortable, and that is understandable. We do not need mandatory Exercises this Sunday to practice social Skills. It is just a Suggestion. I want what is best for the Group. If I can help someone overcome the Shyness and Timidness I had four Years ago, then good for the Person I am helping. We are here to serve and support each and everyone in the Group. Let me know what I can do.

Let's think of some ways to make a game out of it - less intimidating/confrontational that way.

Good suggestion! Thanks for taking the lead, Benji. Ideas for a park? I know of one in West Ashley near Home Depot . Also, what's the forecast look like?

It is supposed to be in the mid-Seventies with a twenty-percent Chance of Rain for Charleston, but that could change. What Street is this Park on? I can make it to West Ashley. Everyone is healthy now at my House. Charlie got cardioverted (sp?) and is feeling much better.

I am going to take on the Part of the proactive quasi-Leader of the young Adults by suggesting we have a bring-your-own Pic-a-Nick at a local free Park with its own Tables. Just a Suggestion- I am getting Ideas flowing. Surely there are free Parks around the Area with their own Pic-A-Nick Tables already set up. We can even play Association Games where we get involved in each other's Conversations. All too often I see the same People in our Group talking to the same People.

I do not feel that one Person (and I am guilty of this, for Shame of me) will not entertain themselves with everyone. Needless to say, one Person's social Skills may be to a Point where they are unable to converse with everyone for Reason of Fear, Shyness, Timidness, or what have you; and that is not their Fault! They are not to blame for being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome which is a deficit of social Skills.

I suggest a B.Y.O. Pic-A-Nick with interactive and engaging Conversation Games to play. Suggestions
