Dinner and jazz at The Mezz

According to their website, The Mezz is "where music enthusiasts enjoy local and national jazz talent." The jazz bar/restaurant is located downtown, right above Sermet's restaurant on King St. I believe both Sermet's and The Mezz share the same menu. Our reservation for dinner is at 7 pm and the Jesse Williams quartet comes on at 8. I made the reservation for 6 people to keep it small and intimate. Please note that there is a $20 cover charge on top of dinner. Also, The Mezz's website mentions the attire is business casual. Here's the link to their site (http://www.mezzdowntown.com/).

The food was really good and company even better - I enjoy the times it is a small group as conversation is easier. The jazz band was excellent too - well worth staying to the end.

Unfortunately, I have to decline the Met this time around - and am very sad about this as I have been soooo looking forward to this. But duty calls @ work & unfortunately it's not an option to not answer the call.
I hope there will be another great opportunity like this some time in the future that I can attend.

I can't join meetups in the middle of the week, because I go out of town during the weekdays :( I do hope to join one of these events sometime!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
