Sorry, I'm out Maurice. My rear axle is broken and won't be able to get it fixed in time.

That means you've done a lot of riding, which is good. Maybe time for a backup bike. :)

Weather now looks clear till 9pm or so. Also since we are now in daylight savings time, most of our ride will be before sunset.

Maurice, I'm backing out. With chance of rain coupled with traffic, probably 40-minute drive each way. See you Wednesday. Brian

I'll probably do this since I live at the Pineville Matthews end of this greenway. I can just head home from there, but I don't have a headlight. Could I just tape a strong flashlight to the bike or where do you think I could get an affordable bike light?

Thanks Zeke, that would be great, unless Maurice comes, then I'll definitely take that off your hands. Thank you!

Ben, I bought a headlight and tail light kit from Walmart for my bike. It included both mounts and all the batteries. Headlight is a LED flashlight with mount that lets you swival and tilt on bike and remove so you can use as handheld flashlight, Tail light is LED also and mount lets you remove with simple press of finger. Both lights have 3 programs. Solid on, slow or fast flash. Both run over 100 hours on batteries on the fast flash program. Best part the kit was $18. So long as it's finally warmer by then you can take a look at them at the ride.

Hoping that another two weeks and daylight savings time that starts on Sunday the tenth of March will bring more reasonable temps and more daylight!!!

I like the dark myself but I'm with you on some warmer temps.
