Welcome to the Berean Bible Study Group!

The Berean Bible Study Group (Acts 17: 11) is dedicated to studying the Word of God to see what it says on a number of topics that affect our lives. We believe that the study and application of God's Word in our lives will make us stronger for todays living, clarify the directions of our lives and help us to increasely focus on the positive things that God has put in this world for us (2 Peter 1:3 ) instead of dwelling on all the negative things we see and hear on an everyday basis. We may try to pretend that these negative bombardments don't affect us, but they do, The Berean Bible Study Group is interested in The Truth (John 8: 30-32) the whole truth and nothing but the truth of God's direction for man on this earth which we believe to be The Bible. The group is open to everyone who desires a closer relationship with The Most High God through His Word. It is also for those who have grown dissatisfied with church. We are not interested in further promoting organized denominational religion as is practiced today. We will leave that to the televangelists and their pitchmen. We will cover subjects that affect men, women, children, families and communties. Our goal is to become more than hearers of The Word, but doers as well (James 1:22)

This group has four basic guidelines, these are:
1. Leave our egos outside.
2. If you have a soap box, please leave it with your ego.
3. If you have an ax to grind see rules 1 and 2.
4. The Bible has the final word.
