Jeremy Keith works with Clearleft in Brighton, UK. He's authored three books, speaks around the world, and organizes dConstruct. For fun, he plays bouzouki in Salter Cane.

Jeremy will be joining us remotely from Brighton to talk with us about the present and future of front-end web technologies and techniques.

Gah- I asked a question when posting my RSVP but thought of a more specific one. When using <section>, is it reasonable to add classes for styling or should it only be used for semantics at this point?

I'm confused because I always read that <section> should not be used for structure. But what if the content calls for a <section> tag- shouldn't we be able to leverage the markup if it's already there?

Maybe this is answered in Jeremy's book, but I (sadly) haven't read it.

No worries, John, I'll be sure to ask Jeremy both of your questions tonight. See you soon.
