You forgot CoffeScript. ;-) I'm not convinced these tools are helpful. It's better to solve the root problem than add yet another layer of abstraction.
AMD, SVG/Raphael, Canvas, any of the HTML5 goodies like web sockets or localStorage, OOCSS, CSS animations and transitions, creating browser extensions. (Basically, any excuse to spend 90 minutes pretending like IE doesn't exist.)
