Introduction
Hi
We are a new Permaculture Institute here in NC's Piedmont--We Are All Farmers. Just had a very successful sheet mulching workshop (25 participants) in Winston. Our goal is to extend permaculture into many "not-your-usual-susp
ect" communities.
What would you like to learn from this group?
What needs there are in NC re: permaculture. Making new friends. Extending the permaculture community.
What can you share/teach others in this group?
My husband and I both have our PDCs. Edward also has advanced permaculture teacher training, a food forest training, and nine years of experience as small operation commercial farmer in Iredell Co. in the 1990s-2000s before there was much or any organic in this section of the Piedmont. We are especially interested in the "invisible systems" of permaculture. I have a long history in education, activism, and nonprofit--and also bring a systems awareness to those practices through permaculture.
