What we’re about
The purpose of this group is threefold:
First: We want to be a place of safety and refuge for Charlotte Metro-Area Christian Singles; a safe and accepting place to come and be transparent, real and raw with like-minded believers in Jesus Christ; a place to share life’s struggles and joys. *We never want to take the place of your home church or life/home groups; we simply want to compliment and support. We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God as the ONLY way to God and we uphold Biblical Standards.
Next: We want to provide fun and exciting events and things to do that are always dual purpose: having a great time together and growing and challenging one another in our faith and relationship with God (Hebrews 10:24).
Finally: We want to serve and give back. Not every event will include this element; but when we can, we want to find ways to serve our local community and really make a difference where we can.
Hebrews 10:23-25 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
Eph. 4:1 “…lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.”
Our purpose is NOT a Christian ‘dating’ service, yet, we will be happy for you if the Lord unites you with a fellow believer through CMCS. HOWEVER: If you are currently going through a separation/divorce, we welcome you and want to be a source of encouragement; but we do ask that you avoid the pursuing of relationships via this group until you are legally and biblically able to do so.
