I worked at The Charlotte Observer back in the 70's - driving around to different small towns on weekends, and shot "public interest shots" -- I also developed my own before turning them into The Observer. I was the photographer for THE SANSKRIT (UNCC Arts Literary Magazine). I also photographer 3 weddings.
I really do not have a favorite. I love artsy themes, animals, people, architecture, and beaches.
I have a NIKON D40 -- and while I was very confident in using my NIKON Film Camera, I need some tips for this digital.
To meet new people, learn different techniques, go on photo shoots and would just love to get back into it. I have had a hard few years (divorced, etc), so I am really looking forward to a new change
Hi - I am a film/tv actor and just recently got back into photography. (I did quite a bit a number of years ago with my trusty film camera, and would love to meet some other photographers as well as learn some new skills with my digital.)
I have only been a member for l0 minutes, but I am REALLY looking forward to this new experience. Thank you, Adam, for saying hello. I hope to try and make the Friday nite meeting -- My day is jammed packed but I could see that there might not be another meeting for a while, so hopefully, I will not crash at 6 pm. Can you give me a general idea of where the meeting will be located? Thanks ....
