Hello Carl. It was nice to meet you too! I should be at the Oct. meetup if you want to look for me. I can certainly offer you some suggestions for the news biz - although I no longer work in it full time. Most people begin by interning, and generally you have to be taking classes somewhere. But maybe you could talk someone into letting you "shadow" them for a day or so. Perhaps meet them at a shoot. It would really be up to the reporter to clear it with their news director. We are holding a casting call at the Wingate Hotel in Rock Hill S.C. on Sunday the 14th. We are looking for all ages, races and genders for leading roles, supporting roles and extras. The casting call will be for two regular features and an anthology film that will be cut into a feature.
