Web Analytics Part II

For those that missed our last Analytics chat, we'll be doing a quick review on the paradox of data and how you can rethink analytics. Most companies tend to only use clickstream data (who clicks where, what pages are visited, time on site, etc). We want to focus not so much on the what, but the why.

The second half we'll spend digging into the new Google Analytics features that will help you gain more insight.

  • Real Time Analytics
  • Intelligence Events
  • Multiple Dashboards
  • Site Speed
  • Custom Alerts
  • Table View Options
  • In-page Analytics
  • Frequency & Recency
  • Visitor and Goal Flow
  • Multi-Channel Attribution
  • Event Based Goals

I had to leave early, but it was still hard to keep track of Bermon's presentation. I wish it was more hands-on and involved with the group.

Although this is a boring subject. So, I guess he did pretty good for what he was presenting.
