Position Title: ISG Senior Content Strategist and Writer (Communications Consultant 5)

The Senior Content Strategist will play a key role in developing world-class customer experiences for Wells Fargo s websites, including our public site (www.wellsfargo.com), applications, secure/transactional sites, emails/alerts, and other communications.
Working in the Customer Experience group, the Senior Content Strategist is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary CX project teams, and for producing and presenting sales-oriented and brand-relevant content strategies, communication strategies, and copy for complex, highly-impactful programs and series of projects.
Content Strategist Responsibilities
> Create effective, on-brand content strategies and communication strategies
> Work on large projects as well as ongoing maintenance, both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
> Collaborate with project teams to understand business goals and identify user needs
> Be accountable and responsible for the content tools within the user-centered design (UCD) process including content audits, competitive analysis, content strategies, and copy using them to facilitate participatory working sessions and teaching these tools to others
> Have an understanding of the overall UCD process, including personas, task analysis, task flows, and how to support user testing
> Inventory and analyze existing content
> Write, edit, and proof copy
> Be organized and able to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
> Coordinate with the mobile content team
> Produce information architecture deliverables on smaller projects
As a senior-level Content Strategist, he or she is also expected to:
> Regularly act as a CX Lead, coordinating the multi-disciplinary CX project team, writing creative briefs, estimating scope and sizing, handling or escalating scope creep and other project issues on behalf of CX, and being responsible for some CX project management
> Lead teams and content strategy for programs or series of complex projects, developing expertise, seeing the big picture, and connecting the dots across projects
> Display strong partnership skills, influencing and compromising with key partners from product management and marketing, being recognized as a partner and subject matter expert, diplomatically handling conflict. In addition to project work, may participate in early discovery and help determine future strategy.
> Display strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills, often presenting to senior management
> Advocate for change that enhances customer experiences and improves process
> Develop and own standards and guidelines
> Manage internal contractors and external vendors
8+ years communications experience.
Minimum Qualifications Required
In addition to the Basic Qualifications, the successful candidate should also have:
>> 8+ years experience as an online content strategist and copywriter for large, public-facing websites
>> Experience developing and implementing content strategies for large sites or large sections of sites
>> Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams
>> Deep familiarity with user-centered design principles
>> Experience developing and owning online editorial standards and guidelines
>> Experience managing vendors and contractors
>> Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
>> Demonstrated ability to persuade partners and diplomatically resolve conflict
>> Excellent organization and attention to detail
>> Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and comfort with PowerPoint
>> Familiarity with content management systems
>> Experience with information architecture
