Harvest Moon Grille's Food Truck will be joining us. Their food philosophy is using food within 100 miles of their restaurant which is located in downtown Charlotte. Great people, great food. Its not strictly vegetarian/vegan but they do offer a limited vegetarian options. http://www.ggfarm.com/welcome-to-grateful-growers/harvest-moon-grille/

There will be a free raffle for a case of 12 oz bottles during the event (retails for over $75.)

Lenny Boy Tea uses no animal products within their facility. All flavors are gluten free and certified organic. They are not certified yet but all the ingredients are. Please see their website for more information at www.discoverlennyboy.com.

I'll be there from 2-4pm but the event runs from 2pm-8pm. I was unable to reserve a table as the venue is small and seating is limited so I'll plan to wonder around with my canary yellow Bean Vegan Cuisine t-shirt on. Send me an email if for some reason you can't find me.

I made up a red meetup name tag for myself so for those who don't know me yet, look out for that. See you all later.

I love kombucha! I've been drinking it for a couple of years now - I would love to be able to make it at home, but have the same concerns regarding sterility, etc. So....I continue to pay an arm and a leg to have someone produce it for me. I suffer(ed) from IBS and the kombucha is taking care of that nicely.

Hi Fred, i enjoyed reading the article. With regard to any concerns, they mentioned that (as with anything) moderation is key. I only drink half a small cup a day. Also the source of the kombucha is very important. Serious health concerns may occur if someone decides to make the tea at home and doesn't sterilize the bottles etc. I've been drinking Lenny boy for months now and I've only had great results. Please free to contact the owner, Townes, at their website listed on the invite if you have any particular questions as hes very knowledgeable Check it out as his company philosophy and his story are interesting All the best, k
