Control Flow in JavaScript with Generators

Title: Control Flow in JavaScript with Generators

Abstract: Generators are one of the many new language features added to JavaScript through the ES6 umbrella. While they are nothing special to the broader programming community, they can be composed in very unique ways with the asynchronous nature of JavaScript. In this talk we will take a tour from the basics of yielding a simple sequence of numbers all the way to controlling the flow of a complex asynchronous program.

Speaker: Garrett Johnson

Garrett is a compulsive software engineer who has focused on building systems with NodeJS for the past 4 years. He currently works remotely for the San Fransisco based start up, Recurly. When he is not working, you can find him at the CharlotteJS or Go Charlotte meetups.
