March Forty Rod Blues Blowout!

Forty Rod Jam time!  The last one was amazing-what a turnout!  I think we can all agree that it's more fun when we can pack the place and feed off the crowd, so let's do it again!  Bring a friend or two!  Special thanks go out to Sharon for bringing her meetup groups out to support us and enjoy what we love to do!!! Set starts at 4pm; as always we appreciate helping hands for set up and break down.

SINGERS- feel free to post a few songs you'd like to try on the discussions page (I have begun a new thread for this).

Sorry I got caught in the Time Change Monster. I was aggrivated that I was too late to set up. When I got home it was still just 5 until I saw my computer which had changed time automatically. I'll do better next time. Anyway what time do we need to be at Lyn's?????

Hey James, it's no problem- just didn't want to make everyone wait after we already started, and we had a few problems with the system earlier so we were already behind. You are welcome to bring your stuff and we'll help you get set up, just shoot for an hour prior to the start time if you can. I'm not really sure about Lynn's- check with Don Rosenberg. My band has a show elsewhere that night, so I told Don I couldn't help other than to help try to get musicians.

Great turnout and, again, MANY THNAKS to all the non-musician Blues enthusiasts that came by. Having a responsive and appreciative audience helps to bring out any musician's best efforts. As the Aussies say..."Good on ya'!"

Excellent blues jam. Some very cool musicians participated, including the Mighty Rhythym Busters, playing some intense blues.
