Introduction: Nihao! This is a Meetup Class Series with the intention of teaching you, or your children, Chinese in a formal class-like setting. This will be a once a twice class to introduce, or to help out, students learn Chinese but in a more structured environment than previous meetups.
Through this course series you will learn the basics of the Chinese Language and the pinyin pronunciation system that was developed to help westerners to pronounce Chinese, the phonetics and grammar behind the language and to help give anyone a good head start in the language. When you are done you should be able to understand and speak basic phrases as well as being able to read pinyin.
Materials: All Materials for this class series will be provided to you as part of the course.
About your instructor: Cui Ping has been teaching Chinese in America for the past three years at a small University near Charlotte. Prior to that she was teaching English in Nanjing's highest ranked high school. She has a lot of passion for teaching and doing everything she can to help her students succeed and has been honored with many "best teacher awards" for her efforts in the past.
Notes: This meetup is a series of Meetup starting in June and lasting until the end of July. These Meetups will last 1 hour each.
Payment for the class of $245.00 covers the whole series of seventeen classes. The minimum number of students required to start this class is three. If less than three sign up then those who have previously signed up will be refunded in full. Once the class begins you are reserved a seat for all seventeen classes.
