Building jQuery Plugins for Fun and/or Profit.

Congratulations! You and/or your boss are drinking the JavaScript Kool-Aid and you've started using it everywhere. Ain't it fun?

But wow, that sure is a lot of spaghetti code. And this gallery component here really isn't reusable. That stinks, it'd be great to use on this other project I'm working on.

This month I'll show you how to build the basics of a Cover Flow plugin in under 30 minutes using CSS3 3D transforms and jQuery. Along the way you'll learn best practices for developing jQuery plugins and become deathly allergic to spaghetti.

Look forward to seeing you! -Nathan Hammond

Great tutorial by Nathan, learned a lot about jQuery and our discussion afterwards about the TCP socket limitations and their implications for websockets might just be subject matter for a future meetup.
