Jake, thanks for enrolling! we're tearing through regular expressions right now, almost everything we cover is applicable to web development in some way. Because we cover beginner to intermediate level of each subject, we may not get always get into cutting edge techniques (like responsive vs. adaptive, SASS, etc.), but we do lay the groundwork and point people in the right direction for extra credit :) looking forward to meeting you soon!
