Topic Selected! High Performance Web Sites

From: Nathan H.
Sent on: Thursday, June 3, 2010 8:27 PM
Hey everybody! We've selected a topic for this month's CharlotteJS meetup: High Performance Web Sites.

Way back in the Internet's dark ages (2007) Steve Souders published a book called "High Performance Web Sites" that showed all of us (primarily) front-end web developers what we were doing wrong.

As more and more is done on the web, the discussion of how to build and maintain high performance web sites and applications has only just begun. Join us as we continue the conversation about best practices and tools that can make it easier to do our job. At the end of the presentation we'll all participate in critiquing an unoptimized web page and make it perform better.

High Performance Web Sites

When: Thursday, June 17,[masked]:30 PM

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".)
