Details: Front End Developer

The Front End Developer will be responsible for two applications, building a front end library on top of the RIA framework.


Members of the Front End Development team are expected to create valid and standards-compliant code that focuses on delivering the best possible user experience to all of our customers.

Minimum Technical Skills:

5+ years of development
Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript (JavaScript not a must)
Experienced with front-end scripting such as PHP, Perl or Python

Required Skills:

Strong communication – A large part of the candidate’s role will be to effectively communicate the importance of standards and best practices to both technical (web application development teams) and non-technical (project management) audiences.

Strong teamwork – The candidate will be expected to contribute to frameworks and code libraries that we use to standardize our code deliverables. As such the candidate must be able to work closely with other contributors to ensure that their code contributions meet team standards.
