5 on the Booty!

Distance: 5.1 miles.

The Hype: Finally, Charlotte's Biggest and Best Running Group has found another way to put 5 on the Booty. We have incorporated the New Sugar Creek Greenway Extension into Charlotte's Infamous Booty Loop. This is a very fun, easy and picturesque course. You will glimpse a shimmering creek, beautiful architecture, sheets of ivy and old world gas lamps. The Towering Skyline finish is inspiring.

Location: Metropolitan (former land of Midtown Mall) Intersection of Charlottetown & Kings. Shops in Area - Trader Joes, Best Buy, Target...

Parking: Tons of it. Two parking garages on corner of Charlottetown & Kings. Two parking lots on Kings (Kings Square & Kings Tower).

Gather Point: We will gather @ Dressler's water fall and band stand.

The Course: The Start is on the Sugar Creek Greenway infront of Metropolitan. Look for the huge stone water effect and the band-stand. The course runs along the greenway under Morehead; left turn on Edgehill (away from CMC) and climbs to Queens; right on Queens and Climb to Queens and Providence; right on South Queens then straight onto Selwyn; right on West Queens then straight onto South Kings; left on Edgehill (toward CMC) over bridge and right down Greenway Ramp; slide under Morehead and finish strong.

Post Run: Vivace for fun, food, and drink. Richard does a jam-up job serving us - please help him out by bringing CASH. Running 35 credit cards is difficult and time consuming.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
