I live in the Ballantyne area and usually run during the week early at 5AM and mostly alone at that time. During the weekend I like to run with a group.
Started running in high school to lose weight for wrestling and found out quickly about its addiction properties to making you feel good. Have not stopped since.
Run anywhere in South Charlotte. Favorite places to run are mostly trail in nature such as Anne Springs Greenway, Crowder Mountain and Boone/Blowing Rock areas. Favorite training distance is in the 8 to 10 mile range and love the half marathon distance in racing.
My biggest running goal is frankly to make running more social in nature and run more with people instead of mostly alone. I would also like to complete a race over marathon distance just to say I did.
Running has been a part of my life for 37 years now. I am on my third lap around the world by this time. Its my teacher, my therapy and my hour with God each morning. You all know the feeling.....
