Kiwanis Club of Chatsworth

In 1994 a group of service minded men and women came together to start the Kiwanis Club of Chatsworth united in their commitment to and compassion for others.

The Chatsworth Kiwanis members are committed to make their community a better place for our children, by assessing local needs, designs service projects to address those needs, then raises the funds and provides the volunteers needed to conduct those projects. Any community need can become a Kiwanis service projects, our focus is to strengthen communities and make a better world for children through service and leadership.

The Kiwanis Club of Chatsworth has been responsible for the following projects that have helped our community:

  • Chatsworth Holiday Parade & Festival
  • Child Safety Days
  • Community Clean Ups
  • Feeding the poor
  • Providing local schools with school supplies
  • Warm Coats for the Homeless
  • Thanksgiving Food Baskets
  • Toys for the needy
  • Backpacks for Foster Kids
  • Reading for Local Schools
  • Sponsor Youth Programs
  • Partnership with Boys & Girls Club
  • Visiting senior citizen centers
  • Citrus Day collection
  • Beach Clean Ups
  • and many more
