So I know the Swaffords wanted to play Power Grid this week first thing--pretty sure Martin is interested if he comes, and JD has given me a tentative yes. That's 5ish and the game goes up to 6--for the sake of planning and knowing when to start, who else would be interested? It runs about 2.5 hours and involves a lot of math.
Afterwards I'd really like to play The Manhattan Project if time allows--it's a happy sunshine 2-hour worker placement game about building atomic bombs that demands direct player conflict. It's also kind of a brain-burner, but it never slows down. Anybody interested? It can go up to 5.

We were planning on starting it first thing, so you'll want to be there at 6.
I would like to play both, but probably can not stay for both, will see. For Power Grid I have almost every map (except the last 2), let me know if I should bring them.
I'm flexible regarding Power Grid - I'll give up my spot if someone else wants to play.
Brandon, are you bringing Space Cadets again? If so, I'd really like to give it another go. I don't mind running it if you want to play something else and if I can round up enough people to play. I've read through the manual and I'm pretty confident I could teach and run it.
I REALLY want to get in another game of Manhattan Project - if I don't end up playing Space Cadets or Power Grid, I'd actually be willing to run a game of Manhattan Project while Dillon is playing Power Grid, and then playing it again - I enjoyed my first game on Saturday that much.
Ummm how complicated is this math you speak of? We are not math people. Also we have an extra person coming with us tonight. Personally, I was more interested in playing BSG... is that still an option?
I'm SCARED of math!!!! It's right up there with snakes!!!! Can I bring a calculator and a utc math student???
Snakes AND math in the same game!? Whatever will we do about the overabundance of eager players?
The math is really just addition and subtraction, but you're planning ahead and have to remember everything. The game really comes down to memory and math. If you have some time before the meet, check out some Youtube video reviews, like this one: http://www.youtube.co...
You can also play it online, and watch it be played. BSW has the best online version: http://brettspielwelt...
And I'll bring both BSG and Power Grid--I'd gladly play either one.
I am not going to be playing a really long game, so if anyone is willing to play a short one I'm up for it! I was thinking either Dominion, or Catan or Crimes Against Humanity?
Greetings all. Wife and I just moved from south Ga to Rock Springs and were hoping to meet some cool new people that enjoy game nights. We play everything from everyday board games like Pictionary to table rpgs like Call of Cthulhu and geeky board games like Last Night on Earth and Arkham Horror.
