INTERMEDIATE
HORSEBACK RIDING LESSON
Meetup Date: Friday, March 15th
Meeting Time: 4:30pm
Ending Time: 6pm
Fees: $31
IMPORTANT --Please be sure to read and understand the protocol for confirming your rsvp for this particular event. The information is listed near the bottom of this event page. You will not be confirmed as going just based on rsvp'ing yes like you would be for most events. Be sure to follow the instructions given.
Have you ever wanted to ride a horse, but didn't know how? Come spend an hour and a half with Melissa, as she teaches you the skills involved in grooming, tacking, riding, and after-care of the horse. Then spend the majority of your time actually riding. We will be posting some additional trail ride events in the near future, so come nail down the basics to ensure that you will be confident. Melissa is experienced at teaching these lessons, so will be a great instructor. The minimum age of participants is 10 years old.
The group size will be limited to 5 participants due to the available number of horses for instruction, and to provide more individualized lessons. In order to ensure that people do not sign up and then bail at the last minute, half of the fees will be required to be paid up front via paypal as part of your rsvp. This amount will be considered as your deposit, and will serve to show your commitment to attend. The deposit will be non-refundable, with the exception of if the event has to be cancelled for any reason by the host. In understanding that sometimes unexpected incidents do happen, in the event that you have paid a deposit and can not make it at the last minute, your deposit may be put toward a future event at the discretion of the host. Please only RSVP if you have full intentions of attending.
Tucked into the shadow of historic Grindstone Mountain, Hidden Hills Farm & Saddle Club is located on over 500 acres of pastures and woodlands just outside scenic Chattanooga, TN.
Procedure to confirm RSVP -- IMPORTANT
1. RSVP yes that you are going
2. Upon rsvp'ing, you will be asked for your email address
(The email address will be used to send you a paypal invoice)
3. If you do not provide an email address, you will be removed from the rsvp list
4. Once you are sent a paypal invoice, you will have 24 hours to pay it. If you do not pay it within the 24 hours, you will be removed from the rsvp going list
Be sure to respond to the 3 questions asked upon rsvp'ing, or you will be removed from the rsvp list. This is a small group event, so we want to ensure that we have no no-shows, while others sit on a waiting list.

Also, I am unable to accept any last minute RSVPs, so the 3 that are going now will be it. I have 3 horses reserved on the calendar and cannot guarantee last minute RSVPs will have a horse available.

Can you make this one? If this date works for you go ahead and come on out. We will still be covering very basic riding skills. I think Beginner II would have been a much better title for this meetup. I'll see if I can edit it. If you're able to come a bit early I can go over the grooming stuff with you, how to sit and how to hold reins. That's about all we covered in previous lessons so you'll be all caught up! If you rather wait I'll probably do another beginner lesson next month. As long as I get at least a few people signing up I'll continue to ask Rhonda to add these types of events.
February 17
Since there's just 1 person, maybe 2, plan on 1 hour and I'll just run it as a private/semi-private lesson. Shannon I hope you can make it!
March 11
Melissa will you be doing another beginners lesson soon? Can't wait to use my certificate from the Christmas party!
