I thought when I retired I might not have much to do, but I am staying really busy.

I have set up a Meet Up group for Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park. If you have suggestions on how we could best develop our Meet Up group, your feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you for the welcome. I moved here 2 yrs ago and have been meaning to join for the last year -- just never did. I've done quite a bit of exploring around here on my own and am really looking forward to some group hikes.

Hey Rhonda, I'm actually in the Kennesaw/Acworth area too, so carpooling would be ideal if we are indeed going to the same events. Will you be going Saturday night?

Thank you for your warm welcome and getting me involved. Everyone was so nice and kind. I am looking forward to heading down some trails with all of you. Just need to stop working 50 plus hours a week! Thanks again for putting together such a nice party. It was the only Christmas event I was able to attend all season. :)
