Hiking on trails is second only to running on trails for me. Climbing the rocks off the trails is also a passion. Simple acts that keep me smiling.

Thanks:) I'll be there! See you in the am!
Hey Randy,
I'm new to trail running and considering attending the Discovery run that you're hosting tomorrow. About how many miles will it be, and how much of an elevation change should I expect?

Would you be kind enough to send me the Stringers Ridge to White Oak map? I can't access it online. Thanks!

Welcome Randy! Maybe you can lead a beginner trail run for Tennessee Wild in 2012.
Hi Randy. Welcome to the Chattanooga Hiking Meetup. We're a friendly bunch of outdoor enthusiasts that love to get out in the woods, explore, and have a good time. We hope to see you out on a hike with us soon. Look forward to meeting you.
Thank you sir, looking forward to it. I hope that i can keep up with you guys.
Hi Randy. Yes I did get a little turned around but I had a great time...I ended up with 20 miles (I somehow did the loop twice) but this is what I needed to train for the 50k. Next time I just need to bring more water. Maybe one day I can keep up with the rest of the group! I hope I can make it next weekend.

Will you be doing any more Saturday 11 mile Stump Jump Training runs?
Hey Randy, I am going to attempt to make it to the Wednesday night run. I hesitate to RSVP because I never know what time I get off work. Is there a good way to let you know whether or not I will be able to make it. I should know by around 4pm. Also, I'm not sure of the pace that you guys run on a trail with this much altitude gain. I don't want to hold everyone up.
