Welcome, appreciators of original live music in Melbourne

Meet with other local fans of Live Music in the inner Melbourne area. Hi my name is Rachael and I run a music night at the Edinburgh Castle called “Checkered Shirts & Urban Skirts” it’s a regular monthly night that showcases original singer/songwriters and bands whose music is at the crossroads of urban folk, blues, country and roots. There have been six nights so far and it’s a whole lotta fun!! Now I'm starting a music appreciation group to regularly meet at the Edinburgh Castle in attempt to find these emerging artists (myself included) a wider audience. If I can get a group going I would also like to organise a follow up discussion group cafe meet up where we can talk about live music, lyrics etc.. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people who have similiar music taste.
