Patapsco - McKeldin Area National Trails Work Day

Chesapeake Audubon is monitoring this area for nesting Cerulean Warblers and Wood Thrush.  Join the DNR if you can to help improve this area.  No need to RSVP on Meetup.

Come out and enjoy the day and get your hands dirty. Volunteer with a Park Ranger and help maintain our trails in the McKeldin area. Trail work will include light and heavy work, and you will be working with shovels and picks. After the work day, there will be some ranger led programs in the area if you would like to stay and enjoy the rest of the day with us. Volunteers working the trails must be over 16 years of age or accompanied by an adult. Please wear closed toed shoes & long pants, bring gloves, water, a snack and anything else you would need for four hours.
Cost: FREE!
Directions: From I-695/I-70 West take I-70 to Marriottsville Rd. ( Exit 83). Go North on Marriottsville Rd. for 4 miles to the park entrance on the right.
