Soldiers Delight

Leader: Tim Houghton
September is a excellent time to see Fall migrants in this globally rare ecosystem. Soldiers Delight is a 1,900-acre state park in Baltimore County (in Owings Mills). We hope to find many south-bound species, including wood warblers, hawks, flycatchers, and thrushes.

Saw an unexpected bird (sandhill crane), bluebird fledglings (very cute) and pine warblers. Very interesting area!!

This would be my first time to this park. Where would you be meeting?

How long will you all be out? I'm thinking of attending but i've got to talk to my birding partner first! :)
