Hi Beth, so sorry you didn't find the group. Bryan replied that the directions stated they would meet under the railroad trestle, not at the old abandoned building . The building you stated is on the other side of the river, and they could not be seen from there, and vice versa. They waited until 2:08, and then took off.

Please join us again! It was a good walk.

Sorry, Steven, I emailed this to all the attendees on Thursday - not sure why you didn't receive it.

We will meet at 2 pm where River Rd crosses the Patapsco and becomes Ilchester Rd. That's between Catonsville and Ellicott City, under the railroad .

From the Balt. Beltway, take the Frederick Rd exit (I think that's exit 12). Go west, away from Baltimore City. Travel thru downtown Catonsville. About 3 miles from the beltway, pass the stoplight at North Rolling Rd, staying on Frederick. There is a large prominent restaurant at this corner, Candlelight Inn. At the bottom of the next hill, turn left onto Thistle Rd. At this corner there is another restaurant, Dimitri's, but the turn is just before Dimitri's. If you arrive in Ellicott City, you have gone too far.

Follow the winding Thistle Rd for one mile. It ends at River Rd. Turn left on River Rd. Go about a quarter mile and park roadside just before crossing the bridge over the Patapsco.
Don't park on the Howard County side, all parking there is illegal . Park on the Baltimore County side, before crossing the bridge
