Bird Walk - Blackwater NWR

Leader: Ruth Bergstrom

Begin the new year with a trip to Blackwater on the Eastern Shore where we
hope to find White Pelicans amongst the thousands of Canada and Snow Geese. Also expected are Brown-headed Nuthatches, Bald Eagles, and Tundra Swans. Mostly driving along the impoundments with some hiking on short trails. We’ll end our day enjoying dinner at Old Salty’s Restaurant on Hooper’s Island. Contact Ruth at [masked] or[masked] if you'd like to carpool.
