Anne Arundel Public Water Access Committee Meeting

Anne Arundel Public Water Access Committee Meeting

Anne Arundel County has around 550 miles of waterfront on the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries with only two public boat ramps.  The Anne Arundel Public Water Access Committee (AAPWAC) is dedicated to getting us all better access to the beautiful waters in Anne Arundel County.

One of the topics for discussion Wednesday night will be Beachwood Park.  Several improvements have recently been made at the park thanks to the Magothy River Association.  While these improvements have made it a lot easier to launch a kayak from the park, a little more effort by the county could make it one of the premier kayak launch locations in the area.  Please come to support continued improvements at Beachwood and better water access all over AA County.

It's kind of crazy but these meetings are actually fun and interesting. It feels like we are really accomplishing something and making a difference. I encourage all of you to attend one of these meetings. You'll learn a lot and your attendance will make a difference.

Hi-I did not get a chance to sign up for this but I was able to attend. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about plans for Beechwood Park and to brainstorm ideas for improving water access and achieving other important objectives as well.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
